I really thought Wyatt Langford was going to be a star. Mike Trout Light. Outside of one awesome month, he has been pretty bad this year. Disappointing. Carter has also been disappointing. Those were two young guys we were really counting on now and for the future.

I hope so. I was actually pretty excited about him as a manager. He had 2 seasons in Miami and made the playoffs in one. He has shown me why he wasn't renewed in Miami.

His only motive for moves is to avoid the lefty/right and vice versa matchups as early as possible. And he gets burned a lot.
Edit to add: he ends up emptying the bench and then we don't have the right moves to make later in the game when we need to make good moves.

2027 is 50/50 at best to even happen. But when we do have ball next, the Rangers are going to be awful. They'll have Rocker, Leiter, and Bradford as starters. Who knows what closer we will have, but I do know the Rangers will do it cheaply because they don't value the bullpen at all. Seager is washed, Carter is a shell of who we thought he would be, and Langford is just a disappointment at this point. The rebuild here will take years.

Tonight ends it'. Two back with four to play. Unreal this club has one postseason appearance in ten years. That run from 2010-16 was special. Heck, if they had the current format they'd have been in postseason in 09 and 13 too!

His usage of Latz tonight was actually one of his better decisions all season, Latz just made a bad pitch…I don't put that on Skip.
Skip using Silseth and then not leaving Montgomery in to pitch to Bichette were my issues tonight.
None of it matters when your lead off guy is back to completely guessing and Seager goes 0-4. This team hasn't hit the ball all season, that wasn't going to magically change the last week of the year.
