Am I reading correctly that the Astros went over the draft pool by 5.04% (about $5,000) which carries a monetary penalty and loss of a first rounder?

Only monetary if the overage is less than 5%

If true, that seems like a big **** up by Dana and team.

Why would they be praying he doesn't get caught unless they were complicit in the doping? If he is suspended, they no longer have to pay during his suspension.
