I keep telling my wife this and that they are terrible, but all she says is "Aren't they in 1st place?" Well, yeah, but - they still suck - they can't pitch or hit. "Well, if they suck so bad, why are they in 1st place?". Well the whole division sucks, honey. "They are in first place though". I hate her sometimes.

Good news: A loss would be one game closer to Joe and Dana being nuked into the sun.

Is it so hard for one of the Astros, Rangers, or Mariners to go on a hot streak and end this misery?! Damnation, someone step up and act like a winner.

He managed to figure it out after a rough start and was throwing strikes. Joe didn't want him to get out of the habit of walking the leadoff guy so he took him out after three innings.

It's only 1-0 Giants and it feels like it's 10-0. Astros look listless and ready to get out of San Fran. It's infuriating that the offense is being handled by pitchers named Whisenhunt and Houser - two well known pitchers.

On the bright side, we went 3 up 3 down in our half of the inning, but still managed to put 21 pitches on their starter. He might still manage to get to 100 pitches throwing a complete game 1 hitter against us.

I was just thinking the same thing. It's like watching the Texans in their early years where they'd be down 7-0 and you'd be thinking, "Well, this is over."

I hate to say this, but I don't think Joe and Dana are the problems. Well they are problems but not THE problem.
