Anyone else starting to get concerned about Yordan? I know hes had several recent games where he was seen shaking his hand after swings, and it doesn't seem his swing has been as confident lately.

Went to BP today and noticed that he took a very very limited number of swings compared to the other guys. Not sure if that is just his routine but it rang some alarm bells for me.

Caballero really has turned into the worst ahole in the league. He's the MLB version of Draymond Green at this point.

He's constantly breaking the rules on the timer violations and then arguing with umps and delaying games for it and then playing the victim card afterwards. And he only does all of it to get into pitchers' heads. It's all mind game BS to mess with pitchers and just to see how far umps will let him go. He's gone so far as the league having to step in and demand umps call out his violations.

Erm, it's all about matchups, ya see. That's what the chart says. Back of the baseball card. Bagwell said it worked in the 1800s.

Yeah, he's an instigator at the plate. MLB stepped in after he would deliberately keep his head down until the last possible second, or even beyond, making the pitcher wait to start his delivery. Umps started giving him violations and he immediately claimed they were picking on him. Nothing but gamesmanship… of the ****ty variety. All he wants to do is play mental games. I'm glad the umpires are calling him on the childish behavior. Go do that in soccer.

For Vasquez. Then with a man on first and two outs in the 9th trailing by 1, he pinch hit for Jake with LaMonte Wade against Mason Miller. I want Joe gone and as much as everyone else, but his hands are tied. Dana and Jim have given him nothing to work with. Then again, if they had given him the a hall of fame roster he'd still find a way to screw it up.

Joe's an idiot. At the end of the day he basically pinch hit Meyers for trammell in a double move. Trammell may be our current best OF bat but Joe can't look past lefty righty.

Chandler mentioned Soler as another one that makes sense, but he doesn't think the Astros have talked to him. Apparently Rob has performed very badly against lefties this year, which is supposed to be the one thing he's good at. There are no good options thanks to Dana and Jim.

He already had to take Vazquez out because Diaz pinch hit for Trammel so it only made sense to pinch hit Meyers there because he was already going to replace Trammel. It makes perfect sense. What cant you see?

It was dumb. All because of that L/R deal. Should have just left Trammell in, then decide later if you want to leave Vazquez in or PH Diaz there. And then you have Jake in your pocket for Varsho is that need arises.

Need to post as many wins as possible, because September will be tough sledding. Home series against the White Sox, Dbacks, and Braves, with road tilts against the Phillies and Rays. Only a home series against the Royals breaks up that stretch. That doesn't include a road trip to NY at the end of this month.

Success would be .500 in those games, which means you need to stack Ws everywhere else to get above 84 wins.

Speaking of the Mariners, how bad has Cal Raleigh been this year? His OPS is lower than… Dezenzo, Allen,
Meyers, Matthews, Loperfido… shall I go on?… and Shewmake, Wade, and Delgado.

He leads Yainer by 4 total bases, but has batted 135 more times. Yikes.

Dumper fell hard off the roid wagon.
