I'll take the 8 Ks and 2 hits allowed from Blanco most days, glad we were able to get his pitch count into the 80s. In 2024 he pitched into the sixth inning 21 times out of 29 starts (and 5/9 starts last year before injury). He's not Framber but this team needs length down the stretch just to get to the finish line.

The Magic traded for them both, then shipped Cuttino's ass out 23 games later.

Maybe our coaches weren't persuasive (or inventive) enough? Some of it is probably wanting to get more playing time on a winning team. Lance might have to go out of his own comfort zone. I'm rooting for him.

I'm rooting for him, too, and based on everything I've observed he would 100% have been willing to move to the pen for Houston. So, I suppose you can figure out where I guess the problem lies.
