That's what we've sorely lacked since Springer & Correa grabbed the bag (I don't blame them). What made the run so special was the fact we had leaders.

Correa being forced to come back may have infused some leadership, but it hasn't settled in. I hope this is a glimmer of leadership light moving forward, but I'm not holding my breath yet.

I heard speculation on the radio that they may have held Spencer in Sugarland knowing that he would be going on the paternity list. I don't know all the rules on the roster options when it comes to that and sending pitchers up and down, so maybe that was a possibility?
