tbf the kid is 18 so we wouldn't see him for another 3-ish years minimum so I wouldn't worry about our projected roster as it'll be very different by the time he makes it, unless he's a Correa-like superstar shooting up and then you just make room

That whole "the vets and stars get the calls that the rookies don't" is what made the NBA unwatchable to me. Anything that gets it out of MLB is 100% positive to me. Everybody plays by the same rules.

I just find it hilarious that a LAD pitcher thinks he's entitled to calls other players should not get. It's almost like cheating or something.

Yes I know he's no longer a Dodgers player but I guess you can't take the Dodger out of someone that easy.

What hubris. Other players should be laughing at him.

He has a good point on having to care about service rankings now. I hope they get rid of that requirement next year. If you are good enough to win a ROY or top 3 in MVP / Cy before hitting arbitration who gives a crap if you were ranked in the top 100 as a prospect?
