I'm giving him this season. Not going to just give up on an All-star caliber 3rd baseman 3 years into his major league career. Especially when there's a noticeable difference in run production when he's in and out of the lineup.

These announcers are awful. That pitch is technically a strike, not "2 balls outside". It nicked the outer edge. Nothing to say though last inning when 2 obvious balls were strikes on Josh Smith.

On another note Cody Freeman and Blaine Crim are tearing the cover off the ball right now. Duran's seat should be steaming hot.

Crazy this team is 6-2 with virtually nothing from Semien, Seager, Joc, Burger and Jung missing the last week to injury. Not to mention the injuries to Gray and Bradford. Feeling pretty good about this season.

Hopefully this IL stint for Leiter doesn't dampen the start he's made this season. He's looked damn good so far, and I hope he can keep it up when he's back. The pitching has been a very pleasant surprises, it's like CY knows what he's doing there. Need the bats to come around, and this could be another special, odd year Bochy team.

Is that 15 day IL stint retroactive to his last start? So he'll miss two starts?

Looking at the schedule, it's going to be two starts no matter the date. There's a couple of off days in there and his next scheduled start wouldn't be until Tuesday.

Evan Grant says it's retroactive to Thursday, he comes off April 18 and they can manipulate the rotation to where he only misses one start.

When is Bradford due back? May?

If he looks like he did at the start of last year, this rotation is as good as we've ever had if leiter also maintains the start he's had.

June last I heard on DLLS podcast. Did say he feels like it'll be on short end of his timetable.

Originally, they were expecting to put him on the 60. OD, CY said he got an update that was very positive and they put him on the 15 instead of the 60. Now, they can still put him on the 60... but felt they didn't need to.

We're in a pretty positive spot.

Then an off-day before traveling to Seattle.
Then an off-day.

If Rocker has a strong performance tomorrow and/or @Seattle, it will help reduce any urgency to get Leiter back.
