Thank God the Bregman saga is over. Good luck to him, and glad we didn't spend that kind of money. Hopefully we still have some flexibility to make some in-season deals to improve

It comes down to, can Bregman get a 3/50 after this deal? If not - he lost money. He also lost money if it comes out a bunch is deferred or if the Red Sox can get out early.
