I don't think anyone knows, honestly.
I don't think we'll know till end of February
That would be exhausting

I'm officially crossed into the apathy stage… If he comes back great, if he doesn't come back great. But all the "updates" are not updates at all.
Same. I had to use process of elimination on the RPs because I didn't recognize any of them.superaggie73 said:texasaggie2015 said:

Easy walk off homerun for me, but man, I only remember 1 of those RPs. 2011 was a rough year.

If Alex Bregman doesn't return, Joe Espada could see Jeremy Peña step into an expanded leadership role. pic.twitter.com/NtbjMN2JD4

No Astros trips planned but I should get to cross T-Mobile Park off this year when the Dodgers visit Seattle. To wear Astros gear or not is the question.tjack16 said:
Anybody doing any Astros road trips this year? Boston last year was 10/10 bucket list. This year we are doing Yankee stadium in August

I think he wants to get paid the most by the Astros. Not just be an Astro.
If he wanted to be gone it would be more apparent and we wouldn't still be in (see Springer)
Probably Toronto.agdaddy04 said:Lonestar_Ag09 said:

Who has offered him more guaranteed money than the Astros?

Taxes that everybody assures me mean nothing to these guys will certainly make any offer by Toronto worth less than whatever the Astros are offering. And I agree with you. I think he is locked in on the Red Sox and wants them to match the Astros offer. The Astros are his fallback, but he would rather play in Boston if they will go 6 years.EastCoastAgNc said:Cubs: 3-4 years, high AAV, with opt outstxags92 said:Probably Toronto.agdaddy04 said:Lonestar_Ag09 said:

Red Sox: 3-4 years
Tigers: rumored 4-5 years
Toronto: 6 years
Houston: 6 years $156M (plus some unknown increase)
Toronto is the only one that's offered an equivalent length, and I imagine they may offer higher AAV, but if they extend Vladdy at the figures currently being thrown around ($40M+ AAV), they likely won't have the budget to spend on him. Also, I don't think he wants to go to Chicago, Toronto, or Detroit.

I think Parades needs to work on both 3B & 2B regardless. We need flexibility if Altuve is going to get time in LF.
Only thing missing is the mystery team Boras/Heyman pulls out of their ass.EastCoastAgNc said:Cubs: 3-4 years, high AAV, with opt outstxags92 said:Probably Toronto.agdaddy04 said:Lonestar_Ag09 said:

Also sounds like Smith will start off big league camp playing third base, his most natural position. He will get time in both corner outfield spots this season. https://t.co/0jeDRRcLGc
