Doubt it happens based on everything I have heard, but would be funny given the way his free agency has played out. More likely to move Paredes to the outfield and let him give rest to the others as needed.

Mix the lineup how you want but thats a nice top 7. Find a way to move Press and/or Caratini. Grab an outfielder and lets get to work.

The OF free agent well is certainly drying up.

Verdugo, Winker, Gamel and Sheets are the only LHH of any value on the list.

If we wanted RHH, Duvall and Hays jump out.

Personally, I'd like to see the Astros take a flier on Dylan Carlson. He's a switch hitter -- former vote getter for NL ROY in 2021. He's only 26 and hasn't completely put it together in the majors.

Bregman doesn't make sense. If you have the payroll room, you get a cheap LH OF and spend the funds on a leverage relief arm and call it good.

He hasn't but they haven't said he won't. Didn't 2015 say he wants an extension? If they did that he'd probably waive it.
