We may be in a position where we need to extend Tucker to convince Bregman to stay so it wouldn't shock me if it's basically an all or nothing package deal.
I can't seem Tucker signing that now unless we do something major like 12/360.
If (big if) Soto gets something like 13/625 I can't see Tucker doing anything but laughing at 12/360. He's going to want 12/450. I'm not saying it's right of that he's worth it but that amount being reported for Soto (if true) will completely reset the market.
He can want that all he wants. Soto is in another league. Him and Ohtani are special for different reasons. Judge was close but he was older and doesn't pitch.

Gonna be hard to figure out because a lot of what you're going to hear from media people (especially Jon Heyman) is going to be planted information from boras himself. Last rumor was he was looking for north of $200m. I don't imagine we'll hear to much until after soto signs.

I fail to see how Polanco helps solve any of your problems at 3B. He's a terrible 2B so I cringe at the idea of him playing 3B.
