They like high upside players. Bregman ain't it. They already added Jazz and still have DJ. Plus NY LF would be a major problem for Breggy. He's vs short porch dependent.

21 AAV is maybe a little high, but 3 years at that is way high when it's age 34, 35, & 36 seasons. Getting traded to Houston was the best thing that could have happened to his career.

Really wish we would have won a game so he would have gotten a playoff start at least. Makes the trade feel like it wasn't worth it in hindsight.

it looked like an "A" in mid-September...
but then he never pitched in the playoffs...Astros knocked out in the wildcard round...and now he's signed with the Angels
so definitely downgraded to a "B"
and if any of the 3 players develop with the Blue Jays (or Tayler Scott doesn't bounce back)
looking at a "C" for the front office
