Yeah, I think you are correct. Heim caught full time in the playoffs and Garver went to a DH role once the playoffs started.

I'm really interested in how they do in Sac. There's a non-zero chance that they don't go to Vegas and stay there. They'd obviously need to do something about the stadium though.

A's broadcast has a pretty cool pre-game show on now.

Oakland closes out the Coliseum with a 3-2 win.

I was working and watching in the background, but I thought Rocker did ok, but not as sharp as his first start. Like his second start, his off-speed stuff wasn't close enough to the plate to generate enough swing and misses. But the inning Oakland got two runs, several of those were tappers and not well hit, plus Ornaleas should have made a play on one of them that was scored a hit. The third run came later in the game, and Langford lost one in the sun that allowed that run to score. Overall, not a bad outing for Rocker.

Leiter came on in relief to finish out the game and did not allow a run. So that is encouraging.

I would feel worse for the Oakland fans if they had beaten the guy with the vulvuleza years ago.

The fact they let that go on for so long has dampened my sympathies for them.

I went to a game in Oakland a long time ago and sat behind the rangers bullpen. Their fans were awful. Yelling and cussing at us and the Rangers players. Way worse than you'd see at any other game. Later that season the rangers pitcher threw a chair into the fans we were sitting by. I was pretty pumped to see that. Good riddance Oakland, that place doesn't deserve a team.

I went to an Oakland game back in June of this year and the Royals happened to be in town. The stadium was such a POS, it was actually kind of cool and the field looked immaculate. We parked and were literally at my seat in 5 minutes, takes me longer than that at Olsen lol.

But Bobby Witt Jr. hit a 400' tank so that was pretty cool

Hmmm. Not sure what the $$$ is for the Mavs deal, but their approach seems most optimal so far for local viewers. I just don't want to see them land on some RSN that isn't widely available and becomes Ballys Part 2

I can't watch anymore (canceled DTV), but good to see them close with a few wins. Langford seems to be closing strong, HR's up to 16 now for the season... after struggling with hitting for power the first several months of the season.

Huge September: 25G, .305, 8 HR, .394 OBP, 1.026 OPS

I think he did enough to finish at least 2nd in Rookie voting. Cowser did better for the season, but his Sept was steady with his season. 24G, .232, 4 HR, .316 OBP, .754 OPS

No such thing as a nauseating baseball season. Wyatt just threw a seed to gun down a guy at the plate. Just spent the last 11 months playing with house money. Yeah, we won't be the champs this season, but 2023 will make me smile for a long time.

I recognize that this is probably entirely perception from my standpoint, but Lowe seems to always be the guy who puts up stats in games when it doesn't matter. He's not the walk-it-off guy, or the guy who drives in 3 in a 4-3 win. DallasAg can probably lay out some stats that prove I'm completely FOS, but that's just always been my take on Lowe. Good stats when the game doesn't matter, or at the point of the season where it doesn't matter. Where was he back when we needed the offense to step up to keep us in the race?

No. He's a radio guy in Dallas I think? Is he a DTV hater or something?

I've been a DTV subscriber for 10+ years, but was pissed about the ESPN standoff. THEN they sent an email notifying of a price increase during this ESPN standoff. Talk about being tone deaf. So I moved to YTV and Google Fiber. Been great so far, but no Rangers the past few days. We will see what kind of tv deal the Rangers get for2025, then I'll make a decision on that. Hopefully it's available on YTV.

I agree.

Frustrating to me was not being able to watch more games on TV.

The Rangers were somewhat frustrating because you saw in '23 what they were capable of doing.

I'm really looking forward to 2025. So much potential. Lots of young guys will be competing for spots.
