I think we may just be stalling, trying to delay or postpone as many games as possible while we wait for deGrom to be ready Speaking of deGrom, he stayed in Arlington and was supposed to pitch to live batters yesterday for the first time. I did not see any updates from the beats on that yet when I looked earlier, so maybe we will hear about that tomorrow.

Something tells me by the time the next prospect rankings come out, he's going to find himself in the top 10. Teodo is another I expect to rocket up the rankings. Exciting once some pitching in the pipeline for once.

I expect Teodo and Santos to be in the top 100 when they do another large prospect evaluation, which I think is done maybe twice a year. They'll also easily be in the Rangers top 5.

Possibly so. I'll be curious to see how many of our prospects drop in the Rangers' top 30 prospects list. There's quite a few I can see taking a pretty big tumble. Foscue, Porter, White, Harris, Ortiz, & Zavala I would expect to not be ranked nearly as high as they are at present. Zavala ought to be completely out of the top 30 IMO.

The vast majority of guys in AAA and AA will never do a damn thing anywhere in the major leagues.

I bet over half of the players that make it to AA never get called up.
