I'm really done with him. We're going on four years of him not being able to touch of mid-nineties in the middle of the zone. It's a major issue now.

Haven't seen other Seager updates posted. This sounds somewhat encouraging. To me this says we need to avoid pinch hitting him today unless absolutely necessary. Then a day off on Monday and maybe he can at least DH on Tuesday in LA.
Corey Seager said, "I feel OK." He's been moving around, said he could probably pinch hit. One thing to consider: A pinch-hit appearance would limit how far #Rangers could back date an IL move if that becomes necessary.

I think Sborz and Scherzer bump Tinoco and GAnderson, with Heaney headed to BP.
It's between dunning and Heaney, and will depend on what they value out of the pen. Do they want a lefty who can strike guys out, or a guy who's got quite a few pitches and funk to get guys? I could make a good argument for both of them.
Brock Burke is close to being back too, right?
BTW - Josh Smith has twice the number of home runs than Jose Abreu does this season.
Do we want him back? Being kinda funny but also kinda serious. He's been dreadful for us for a while.
Bullpen could really use another lefty. Right now it's Latz only. Probably the biggest reason why I think Heaney is the first to go to the pen, once we get some troops back. Definitely not gonna hold my breath on Burke but I'm sure he'll get his chance again.
I wonder if Brad Miller can pitch....

2-4 lackluster homestand, but at least the injury reports were good and still 5 back of Seattle.
The schedule the next few weeks is really difficult. If we can get to July still just 3 games under .500 we'll be fine. This team is going to make a run post all-star break. Really interested to see what we do with the rotation once Scherzer, Bradford, Mahle and deGrom are back. Talk about an embarrassment of riches.
I stand by my previous post....if we get 3 starts from deGrom this season I'll be stunned. Counting on any kind of contribution from him isn't likely or very realistic
