I'm baffled at how bad this offense is
It's starting to remind me of the '76 Rangers. We traded for Bert Blyleven and he pitched fantastic, but we just couldn't score with what should have been (on paper) a fairly decent lineup. He wound up going 9-11 with a 2.76 ERA. The highest ERA of all the starters was 3.49, although Steve Barr stunk it up pretty bad in 10 starts (5.59 ERA for the season, 10 relief appearances as well). Team ERA was 3.45, but only won 76 games because we just couldn't score any runs.gigem1223 said:

Entering today, among the 171 MLB qualifiers since May 1, the lowest fWAR is -0.8. Three players share it: Justin Turner, Elehuris Montero & Adolis García.

García's slash since May 1: .156/.209/.303/.512
I agree, but the big question until then is can we stay close enough for it to matter?Danny Vermin said:
I have absolute faith that we will make an after the Allstar game run.
