Season beginning to look like it will not pan out. Absolutely nothing going right, constant failure. If this offense can't begin to produce, there will be no point to bring back this season Scherzer, Mahle, or DeGrom, presuming they make it back this season in the first place.

Agreed on stepping back, but this teams response to this is less that desirable.
We aren't 54 losses bad at all, but we do feel like a 75 win team max at the moment.

Agree. It's stupid, especially when in reference to baseball. Baseball is about finding rhythm and confidence. It's a game of streaks. It's a game of failure. It's a game of slumps. It is not about effort on the line of scrimmage, effort in chasing loose pucks, etc. where you just will your way to good play because you want to win bad enough.
