Offense has been way too anemic since the first week or so of the season.
We are desperately missing some slug on this team. Really hard to score runs when you're not hitting for multiple bases or not sequencing hits. We're doing neither.

They are two of the 4-5 most talented hitters available right now and just have to fight through it.
Glad Gray got that pitch that Mize has been getting all day.
Semien, Seager, Garcia, Lowe...set it and forget it at the moment. Just split them up and stick them in the bottom half of the lineup right now. They are talented kids, but they are kids. They both have work to do at the plate.

He's shown way more pop than Langford. Langford is struggling to get it out of the infield. I'd drop Langford once Lowe gets back.
I agree when those guys are all available. Garcia got the day off, so Carter and Langford are, theoretically, the 3rd and 4th best hitters in the lineup today.Tksymm7 said:

Until Langford starts getting his feet under him it's pretty apparent Jung is the linch pin in the middle of this lineup. Lowe will help but let's not act like he was great at the plate last year. Need him to return to 2022 form.
This game sounds like a covid game.
