I believe some of you (like myself) subscribe to Jeff Wilson's service. Was curious if any of you have watched or listened since he joined up with DLLS.

So far, I'm not loving it. First of all, although John Moore could be annoying at times, he's nowhere to be found. Now the podcast is Wilson, Abby Jones (meh) and John Rhadigan (are you effing kidding me).

Also, in a 90 minute-ish podcast, it felt like there was 25 minutes of advertising, that goes on and on and on...

I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt and hoping it gets better. I'd be interested to hear anyone else's thoughts, no matter if you agree or disagree with my take.

Since the all star break the rangers are 14-21. For reference Oakland is 19-14.

This freaking team. Woulda coulda. 9.5 back from a Houston team barely over .500. Conceivably, we could be 8 games back after tonight. If we could just get hot.

I've never gotten into podcasts. So many out there that it feels overwhelming to try to start. But I will say that if John Rhadigan is part of it, I can cross it off my list. Seems like a really nice guy, much like Dave Raymond, but drive me a little monkey bananas at times.

Since I live in TN I get zero Rangers coverage locally. Podcasts keep me somewhat informed

Personally, I think Jamey Newberg's SubStack for $7/month is well worth it. He's been putting out a quick recap on most games and roster moves, and the format seems much better for him than the Athletic

I listen to locked on rangers here and there. It's free and the host puts out 20-30min episodes every weekday. It's a decent podcast.

I need to give that one another try. I used to listen to it until I realized the guy doing it doesn't have any inside info, he's just a fan. He used to post a lot of wildly inaccurate stuff - but maybe he's gotten better

Opening jitters aside, Leiter looks like a different guy this time. I'm optimistic about him going forward again.

Agree. I'm excited to see how he closes the season. Not having to worry about going back down and just having consistency should do him well.

I won't want to play this up too much, but I think Leiter in an MLB rotation with Rocker gives him such a better chance of success than him trying to make it without him alongside. Rocker is the alpha dog and can give Leiter some familiarity as he's adjusting to the league.

Probably overthinking it, but I don't care.

With Rocker and deGrom, do we immediately have two of the easiest gas throwers in the MLB?
