So I'm the only one that owns all of my takes? I wasn't the only one posting on Langford. I don't think we want to start revisiting everyone's posts on here.

And I hadn't given up on the guy, but I thought some time at AAA learning how to hit with power might be good for a short stint. He's moved up to 5th in ROY projections. He's still in the 60th percentile in hard-hit rate.

Where are you seeing these projections? I see he has the second best odds right now behind Luis Gil, and Langford will probably overtake him in the next few weeks

There was about a 1-2 month stretch where Langford struggled to hit anything out of the infield and lots of what he did hit, he didn't hit hard.

I think people lost patience because the offense overall was terrible and we were losing because of it, but yeah we kept saying there's a massive jump from triple A to major league pitching. Huge learning curve.

I was one of the ones saying he should spend some more time in the minors. I'm not a developmental expert but it seemed like a reasonable idea to let a struggling rookie with hardly any pro ball experience get some time in the minors. I guess we'll have to hear about it every game. Meanwhile I've had numerous takes last season that proved to be right despite what everyone was saying on here. But I'm not going to let everyone know how wrong they were every day.
