I think we can all agree that trading for Grossman is likely an indication that Langford won't return to the Big League club once healthy.
I don't think that is a bad thing.
The RP we gave up was not on our T30. Corneillo, Church... we have some guys... I agree I don't like giving him up, but this shows how much "trust" plays a role.
Another point... Anthony Hoopii-Tuionetoa is Rule V eligible at the end of 2024, I believe. He is at AA. Do we have room to carry him after the season? I doubt it. We'd risk losing him and if he is that good, we'd likely lose him.
But, I think with the Ws we've been lining up, this is a good chance to grow some distance through momentum. Bury Oak, LAA, and Hou now.

The FO is about winning and merit.
In term of RoY and comp associated with it... Carter is likely Top5 in the running.
