Went to the game tonight. It was close to a playoff atmosphere.

I wore my Astros tequila sunrise BP Jersey and WS cap that I got at Game 5 in 2017 and orange and blue Houston shoes.

That combo was worn to Game 5 2017, one of the home games of WS 2021, Game 2 of WS 2022 and the division clincher. All wins.

It's not ripped jeans level, but it works for me!

So I guess we're now tied with the Rangers for 3rd in number of AL west titles. Seattle btw is in 7th place on that list, because in addition to being behind all their other divisional rivals, the Royals (6) and Twins (4) also still have more AL West Championships than they do (3).

Wonderful story. Unfortunately lost my Dad in 2015. I used to listen to Astros at night on my Transistor Radio under my pillow at night in the late 1960's before I was 10 years old. I thought that would prevent my parents from hearing it.

Lost my Dad in 2016. Right before this run started. Man I wish he were here to see all this. I actually grew up much closer to Rangers country but he had this thing for the Astros and he turned me into a fan early on. Will never forget him pulling a 10 year old Dixichkn out of school early on a Friday afternoon to drive to HTown and watch JR Richard beat Steve Carlton and the Phillies

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but Crane stepping back and letting Dana make moves was huge. Letting Abreu and Montero go, getting Kukuchi, and signing guys off of the scrap heap like Gamel and Heyward have been huge moves that wouldn't have happened with Crane playing GM.

I don't know if the front office culture is any different than it was early in the season, but Crane appears to be trusting the baseball people do their jobs and it's paying dividends.

Way to hang in starting the year and turning it back on. "Relentless" fits the Astros perfectly. I would love to see us in the ALCS for the eighth time, that would be unbelievable. And if we get there look out.
Never count out the Astros-Never!

Supposedly the manager wanted to address the fans after the last game and ownership told him he wasn't allowed to do it. Also told all the players to GTFO the stadium as fast as possible once the game ended. Trash organization.
