Heyward vs. Gamel (Cabbage doesn't marter as Gamel already knocks him out of the equation) is a fascinating question of upside vs. predictability.
I would argue Gamel is more of a predictable commodity now: slightly below average production in a corner OF spot (which would be an upgrade over what we have).
Heyward has higher upside as a playoff exprrienced veteran who has produced more, but been worse this year. Is he a case of age 35 decline, or is it a blip along a slower decline?
In a vacuum, I would probably opt for Heyward, but with Gamel already on the team, I don't know that he moves the needle enough to make another move.

Jon vs RHP, Caratini vs RHP or Diaz vs RHP? You only get 2.
Caratini is very good vs RHP and so is Diaz. Better than Jon. But the defense gets worse with Diaz at 1B.
Its a tradeoff.

tough next 7 games if we go 4-3, good chance to hold onto our lead and solidify our position as likely division winner. It won't be easy....just have to avoid 2-5 or 1-6.
