If Dezenzo is playing LF, who is playing 1b?

Big Jon has the 2nd lowest OPS in baseball of any players with 300+ PA whose primary position is 1b. And he's a bad defender and he's 40 points above his career OPS so it's not like there's hope for change.

I would rather go with:

1. ANY 1b in our farm system. Whitcomb or whoever is most ready.
2. Whatever the best FA available is. Brandon Belt. Even Yuli. I'd rather pull Chris Carter off his couch and give him a shot. I'm not kidding. Chris Carter is a HOFer next to Singleton.
3. Dubon, Yainer...whoever else owns a first baseman's mitt.

In all fairness, that title probably belongs to me. But, I rarely if ever say anything about Yordan's pitch selection- I just bemoan on occasion when he misses a meatball.

It's mainly Meyers and Dubi who drive me nuts.

He did swing, he just missed it. If it's sitting on a tee like that, swing every time, first pitch or 20th pitch.
