Hmmm…. Yeah a bit high given his production this year. If it was 2023 Yandy Diaz then yeah you take that

Matthews and another prospect I'd do. But not melton and Matthews

Me too. Man's about to finish with a sub-3 ERA as an Astro while they end with 84 wins and in second place anyway.

Well , getting fleeced once is better than twice.

Only thing I got is maybe the Astros see something that makes them think they can fix Kikuchi. Long shot I know.

Believe me, I am not rooting against the guy. I hope he makes me eat my words and will gladly eat crow if he does. I just don't see the value prop of three prospects, two of which were good enough to be with the major league team already, for 2-3 months from a guy that is far from a sure thing right now. If I turn out to be wrong, I will be happy.

This is quite literally the most un-enjoyable Astros team to watch since 2014, all things considered. Second place on that list is last year's for several long stretches, so I guess that's as good an indicator of the window's slide into overness as any.

They're not going anywhere this year.

I have seen this several times. The reality is they actually weren't good enough. They were only on the MLB team because of injury and poor performance from Chas.

Bloss barely has pitched at the MLB level. Joey was essentially Chas before he was traded.

Neither of them would have been on the MLB team if it weren't for injury and Chas being underwhelming.

And they become even more frustrating when they go and swing at the 1st pitch!! Like Jfc make their pitchers work. But noooooo we always make nobody's look like Cy-Young pitchers.
