Feels like the Kikuchi trade may have been another momentum shifter like getting rid of Abreu
He's not even here yet.
Joey has been gone
It's felt in the clubhouse

I wonder if the trade activity/inactivity has messed with the psyche of the players?
They have been mega-sloppy last night and today.
One team looks like they are motivated and recharged by how their front office made moves to get better. The other does not.

Would have liked to see him in an Astros uni but price was too high

The rookie who had a cup of coffee? If that's all it takes to derail this team we're in big trouble.

What was the asking price? Think I missed it

They wanted Melton and Matthew's along with at least 1 other player.
So was the price for coochie.halfastros81 said:

Hell, given what we gave the Blue Jays yesterday....they were probably somewhat surprised that we didn't go for it.Beat40 said:tjack16 said:halfastros81 said:

You guys have driven me to the point where I'm now rooting for Kikuchi insanely hard, and I haven't ever wanted him to pitch for the Astros.
Believe me, I am not rooting against the guy. I hope he makes me eat my words and will gladly eat crow if he does. I just don't see the value prop of three prospects, two of which were good enough to be with the major league team already, for 2-3 months from a guy that is far from a sure thing right now. If I turn out to be wrong, I will be happy.Beat40 said:txags92 said:So was the price for coochie.halfastros81 said:

This is quite literally the most un-enjoyable Astros team to watch since 2014, all things considered. Second place on that list is last year's for several long stretches, so I guess that's as good an indicator of the window's slide into overness as any.
They're not going anywhere this year.
