Gotta give Salazar some credit. In 16 ABs he's got 5 RBI and an .889 OPS. He's hacking it as a backup catcher.
And I would've left him in there because he seems to battle and make contact, whereas Cabbage looked like he should be on a bus to Fayetteville.
The two-hole hitter went 0-4 to drop that OPS back to .702, as well.

To be fair his defense didn't help. The pop fly that Yordan didn't catch. The bad defense by Salazar to allow Kirk to score.
I don't feel bad about these losses when out offense still shows up. Just gotta clean up pitching.

This loss sucks but they battled back and almost had it. Couple of months ago 7-0 would've felt like 70-0. Let's take the next 2 and we're still good.
