A weak single against the shift, a bunt single and both of those runners come home...after Cabbage gets picked-off ( or doesn't and Espada just leaves it unchallenged) and the next pitch ends the inning. That's an absolute microcosm of this season....well, that and the 440 ft. double that Yordan just hit and likely won't score from.

Sometimes, that's right....unfortunately, it's a multiple times/week occurence for the better part of the last 3 months which leads me to believe that our opponents are doing better advance work and in-game adapting than we are.

He has 2 home runs and 7 RBi for the entire season.


By comparison, Joey Gallo, arguably the worst serious offensive player in baseball is:

Has 5 HR and 11 RBi
Has a season OPS of .606 (242 points higher)

How do you find yourself losing to a light-hitting, sub-.500 team??

You have a 7-8-9-1 who are 1-9 with no BBs, 3 Ks, 0 R and the 1 hit immediately erased on a pickoff

vs.

your opponents 7-8-9-1 who are 6-8 with a HBP, no Ks, 4 Rs

That's just awful and guess what, he'd turn in the same GD lineup card tomorrow if he could.
