Agree on Tayler Scott. I'm certainly ok with taking flyers and chances on some guys, but it's not my favorite strategy. I just don't think going all in on one really, really good guy and then taking chances on most likely bottom end guys is one that leads to lots of success. I believe you need middle of the road performing guys to balance a team out.

To me it's like when formerly really good players clear waivers and everyone asks about possibly picking them up. Just never seems to work. They get released because they are no longer great.

I had the same thoughts.

Still - too early to tell. Regardless of if they got to solid arms versus the one, the org still needs Press to be Press.

No guarantee those two arms would pan out either.

Hindsight is 20/20, easy to second guess now.

Getting to .500 is inherent if they play at a .600 or .630 rate, which isn't too far off from their current .571 rate all the while with Tucker being out, Altuve slumping majorly, and Pressly having some major issues.

Absolutely. It's bullpen, so year-to-year could be different as well.

To me, the bullpen hinges on Pressly regardless.

Maybe I need to watch some video on him again and see if he's tipping. People forget I fixed him last year

I think they'll finish the season above .500, but they could be anywhere between 70-90 wins. Feel like it's closer to an 80-win season.

Unfortunately for Framber, if he can't get the call on those back door curves (which he absolutely should be getting), he is forced to throw it into the zone. He is clearly getting frustrated and we all know how that goes with his head.

Saw it posted earlier but the dirty truth is this offense really sucks when it's not playing one of the few teams beneath it in the standings.
