This team should not be instilling any motivation in Crane/Brown to go out and make moves to compete this year. As much as I want to see a turnaround this is who they are. Too many holes. Inconsistent pitching. When we get closer to the deadline they need to be looking at the future for next year and beyond.

At this point, I don't blame Abreu. He's not going to say no to playing.

The blame is completely on Espada, Crane, and Bagwell, for continuing to put him out on the field.
