Dubon hasn't exactly hit the ball well this year, but he has been able to put it in play. When he has, it has lead to positive results. In comparison, Chas has been terrible. He has 2 fewer batted balls than Dubon, despite seeing 140 more pitches. Dubon doesn't walk or strike out, and Chas does both.

One interesting thing about Dubon...pitchers have thrown him a fastball 66% of the time. That definitely won't continue all year.

I completely agree, but the pay difference between Jake and Jose is significant, and I feel like that's driving the favoritism.

I don't remember his name but I think he had some kind of wrist injury leaving spring training

Zach Dezenzo was the name I kept seeing. Or Brice Matthews but he's probably not ready until 2026


Dezenzo in 2023 AA, 63 games 14 HR 41 RBI and a .825 OPS

That's exactly what I was thinking. Looks like sometimes these coaches wait a little too long and let the players "figure it out" on their own before saying or doing something. Who knows…

Yep. Just win series moving forward. Goal right now should be get back to .500 and then see how things shake out in the standings

Unfortunately, 790 actually started enabling the geofence, so I can't get the games through iheartradio app anymore. MLB app has an option with MLB.tv subscription to get the radio feed, but the app constantly drops minutes of audio for whatever reason. I'm watching some silent baseball today.
