I'm going to be sad if Spaghetti goes, I personally have enjoyed watching his development this year.
After your previous post and one I saw on premium about A&M setting up a press conference...texasaggie2015 said:

So what would yall think if we trade Spaghetti, Chas, and a farm arm for Vlad jr? I don't wanna give up on Lopes just yet and Dubon can play left if Yordan needs a DH day

We simply can't afford to give up a major league arm

is that simply because of our SP depth issues or because of how the organization sees Lopes futureredline248 said:After your previous post and one I saw on premium about A&M setting up a press conference...texasaggie2015 said:

Wow. Thanks for the nugget 2015.
If we go from "OMG they took Schloss" to landing OConner, who has a much better and equally long resume, in 4 days, I can't even believe it.
Looks like we already have the bulk of the pitching unit coming back (which proved to be the real strength of this team) and if OConner happens I bet we can hold/assemble the lineup to be a top 5 competitive team again next year.
Lord knows our NIL game is motivated to make it happen.

I'm hearing O'Connor, and I'm hearing Heefner.

I’m hearing that Dallas Baptist University head coach, Dan Heefner, is the front runner for the Texas A&M (@AggieBaseball) head coaching job.

Heefer would be a great hire for the #Aggies and is a very successful head coach. A thread 🧵

I get that, but he's had a ton of kids drafted, top 10 over the last 10 years. That's damn impressive at a school like DBU. I was leery about the level of comp too but that's pretty loud. I'd be happy with either, but would be ecstatic with O'Connor.
From a friend of a current baseball player at A&M, it sounds like Trev consulted players about this decision. So whatever it ends up being, I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of these players stay. This matches what Brauny and Billy have been saying about the players
