More rest for young guys who haven't had a large workload, guys coming off injuries like Javier and eventually Urquidy, and more rest for the elder statesman JV.
Plus it means less starts for Hunter Brown. And that's a good thing
The problem is you are now down a reliever and stress the bullpen even more if you can't have your starters go 6+ innings every night. And let's face it, Brown can't go 6, even in Javier's great starts he barely goes 6, Framber is either 3 inning or 8 inning depending on his psyche that day, and JV is a high pitch count per inning guy. The 6 man rotation would be a disaster I think.
