I think it is a misleading stat because whether or not Bregman scores is more about how the hitters behind him are doing than anything he does unless he is hitting dingers. If Yordan, Tucker, and Diaz are having good nights, Bregman is likely to be scoring since he is hitting in front of them, and the team is likely to do a lot better than if the 3/4/5 hitters are cold.

Their stars take advantage of chances and do what needs to be done at the plate, ours aren't. That's really what's standing out.

Now blue's miss cost us 3 runs ... that said it was right on the edge of down and away so can't complain too much. Verlander giving up 6 hits in 3 innings is a bigger issue

I love Texas Aggie sports, but I love Texas A&M more.
