Evan Grant on foul territory. Have not listened yet
Eta: he talks about Monty early. He doesn't think the Rangers sign him.
Eta2: he thinks the club is planning Langford to break camp with the big club

I don't think Langford is going to make the opening day roster. Let him get a few hundred more at bats at AAA then move him on up.
Huge year for Porter. This is his year to really take the next step and start jumping up the rankings. Same could be said for Leiter as well, but I don't think anyone has a clue there. Porter at least has growth and projection left.CowtownAg06 said:

Grant reports that the Rangers offered Gallo a five-year, $84 million extension that could have become worth more than $100 million if the outfielder hit various incentive clauses and escalators within the deal.
Gallo has one year of arbitration eligibility remaining, so this proposed extension would have covered the 2022 season and then four free agent years, keeping the veteran in the fold through his age-32 season.
Lots of people at #Rangers Fan Fest and some news: Max Scherzer says he should working out again in about three weeks. He has cleared the critical six-week mark after back surgery without any setbacks.

“There were a lot of other team that made it tough… but you can’t pass up this club. Being under a HOF manager and the success of the World Series. I made sure my agent knew my Texas was my first choice.”

“I will make it my best effort to be the best 4th, 5th outfielder in this game … I have no problem taking a back seat to anyone. Whatever’s going to help this team win. I have zero ego, zero entitlement to this team.”

Jacob deGrom said the plan is to start throwing again in the spring, TBD on the date. He’s happy with how his recovery is going, though.

I remember this play from Neris, but I think he actually may not be a terrible fielder despite this example.South Platte said:
I'm pleased with the Robertson signing. I've always thought he was a solid, low drama relief pitcher. After last season, I think we all appreciate low drama relievers.
I liked Neris as well. Seems like the guy is a workhorse. Getting both Robertson and Neris would have set us up nicely. We're going to need a strong bullpen for the first 4 months until all of our spaghetti arm starting pitchers get off the DL.
