Doesn't matter. Im sure bookies don't just openly out people and even better if you read further down the thread it says he got it from an insider in the Brave's organization. If that is the case and the Brave's guy knows the bookie then MLB has a whole lot of issues.Farmer1906 said:n_touch said:lol how did this guy get the bookies information? This is a different bookie. The one previously was in Cali. This is in Japan.
Some updates from rainy Astros camp:
— Brian McTaggart (@brianmctaggart) March 22, 2024
-- Hunter Brown will start the third game of the season
-- Verlander will another live BP Monday or Tuesday
-- Kessinger may take ground balls tomorrow
-- Valdez threw about 80 pitches today on back field
Justin Verlander was encouraged about how his live batting practice session went on Wednesday. He will travel with the team to Houston when camp breaks on Sunday and is likely to throw another live BP either Monday or Tuesday at Minute Maid Park.

EastCoastAgNc said:Today’s Astros Spring Training game vs. the Nationals has been cancelled due to rain. Framber Valdez threw five innings on the backfields. He was scheduled to start tonight’s game.

Joe Espada said he met with his coaching staff today to "narrow things down" for the remaining Opening Day roster spots. At least two spots in the bullpen and on the bench are still undecided.

Don't give a **** . Nobody needed "way more proof" for an imaginary ****ing buzzer.OKCAg2002 said:
I didn't read that whole thread, but you could pick out any game where a player has a subpar performance and claim he was "throwing it." Gonna need way more proof than that circumstantial evidence.
So we can't defend our favorite scrub players but we can discuss tax law on here?BMX Bandit said:Farmer1906 said:

I don't think money is an issue here.
Also, don't you also not owe the tax until after you have exceeded the lifetime limit?

what an awful trade that was for Cleveland
MLB announced that “earlier today” their department of investigations “began their formal process investigating the matter” involving Shohei Ohtani and Ippei Mizuhari.

What goes around, comes around. They gave us Astros fans a bunch of crap and hate, they still harass Altuve. Now, the MLBs golden boy is potentially in trouble and they are in shambles.

Ronel Blanco and J.P. France are on the schedule start Tuesday’s exhibition game at Minute Maid Park. Yes, both are going to make the major-league team, but one will pitch for Sugar Land in that game.

I want MLB to investigate Ohtani. Not because I think he is guilty of any wrongdoing, but to ensure integrity and consistency.
— Dan Clark (@DanClarkSports) March 23, 2024
What I don't like, though, is Padres and other rival fans rooting for Ohtani's downfall. MLB needs its stars - especially foreign ones. Don't hate.
Have to give Click credit for understanding value and being willing to make a trade like that. Still early but so far Brown hasn't really done anything. Extending Gus is fine but I'm guessing Crane is heavily involved in those decisions.EastCoastAgNc said:
I remember how many of us wtf'd over that trade. It made zero sense at the time. Click was playing 3D chess

So you think, after one year, you have a good idea what New Rules Baseball looks like, huh?
Ha! Are you familiar with how modern front offices think?
They've been digging in on how to "exploit" these rules better. Here's my look at what's coming.https://t.co/3Mo2TjndC5
