I was watching the Rangers TPP on Talkin Baseball and they mentioned that we play them 7x in the first 2 weeks. We can put them in a hole while they're missing their stars. I'd very much enjoy that.

I think we get a playoff rematch with them but in the ALDS.

I'm kind of high on the Mariners this year. My gut says the East gets 3 teams in before the West does. The central only gets one, like usual. I'm kind of betting the first half sinks them before they get Scherzer, DeGrom, Mahle, and any deadline adds.
I think their offense is good enough to get them to the playoffs… especially if Langford pans out. I'd say Astros go 94-68 and Rangers 90-72 getting final wild card spot.
Yup. Their offense is going to be very good. Theyre going to have to slug their way to the postseason. I think their SP is worse, RP stays bad, and the offense takes a tiny step back.
Joe Espada said he's planning to play all his regulars on Monday and Tuesday against the Space Cowboys at Minute Maid Park. Tomorrow's final Grapefruit League lineup will be primarily backups/bench guys.

The Rangers offense will be potent, but pitching worse. And while Carter and Langford are potential pluses for their lineup, I think many are forgetting how many guys had peak years last season.
