Not a great start for the new Houston writer. So when do you start respecting the “cheater” that soon will be the reason your bills are being paid? Astros fans are anxious to hear your rebuttal. pic.twitter.com/bq0h0sckPY

1. Arson Judge to Giants
2. Correa to Mets
3. Correa to Giants
4. Leah Vann as the Astros beat writer
Edit to add
5. Whoever was supposed to vet the new writer and check her SM accounts
My Twitter started as a personal account and merged with my professional life since I fostered a network & following on here. That’s not everyone’s taste, but I believe in transparency and have fostered many meaningful relationships on and off the field as a result.

Today was a rough day. I’ve had a lot of those lately in real life. My close friends know that. This was going to be the shining light of it all— and I with this from LSU, and I turned it around in time, so I believe I can do the same here… but damn, the internet is ruthless.…

She might quickly replace Chandler as the most hated reporter by the Astros org.

This alone says she's not that smart. To try and take shots at a coach you're covering to gain clout for yourself is very narcissistic. This is the kind of toxic individual that players and anyone associated with the team will want nothing to do with.DallasAg 94 said:
Maybe this will help:
She is "that girl." And apparently a Sip.Press conference was at noon, I was running from a doctor’s appointment. Got there at 11:57. Brian Kelly called me out, said jokingly I owed him $10, I said if he won maybe I’d be on time. Not my finest hour. I apologized afterward, he was super chill and said I still owe him $10 https://t.co/6zsp6k9PuL

So... no TOFAs? I give it 2 weeks into the season.
Nothing worse than a terrible sports writer. Rangers have their mess in Kennedi Landry... from LSU.

My thought as well - stop trying to play the "life has been tough lately" card when something goes wrong. Suck it up and admit you've made a mistake.Marvin said:Farmer1906 said:Today was a rough day. When attacked, play the victim.
Guess what- life craps on us all. I hope it's better for her, but don't play the sympathy card to cover up poor judgment and stupidity.
I don't think it's careless. She messed up with Brian Kelly, and clearly didn't learn from it.texasaggie2015 said:
Yeah, normally I would feel bad and say give her a chance.. but this is simply the consequences of being careless online. And from what I've heard this isn't the first time she's run into trouble with this kind of stuff.
I do think some of the attacks from people are going way too far. There's no need to get personal. But I wouldn't blame anyone at all for voicing their displeasure to the Chron.

The Chron is an absolute abomination of a 'newspaper'.
The fact they didn't vet this chick is not surprising in the least.
I bought the special edition paper and poster they had after the 2017 World Series. Never received them, their customer service was nonexistent. Jack asses.MAROON said:does anyone really subscribe to the Chronicle?Ag_07 said:

Back in the day when we had the Post and the Chronicle we had great fricking sports writers and sports pages. I took both papers just for the sports. Not sure I've read the Chronicle in over 10 years.
It's less about the paper and more about the online presence. The writers, especially for sports, can have a large online presence. They can post their articles on social media, and people will click the link that takes them to the Chronicles website, where they generate revenue from the ads.MAROON said:does anyone really subscribe to the Chronicle?Ag_07 said:
