I would say hell no.
3 prospects (arguably your top 2 plus a starter that might be MLB ready) for a guy whos good (potentially great) for just 1 season. Plus he's getting paid like $24 M.
Yariel Rodriguez intrigues me a lot.

Garver doesn't make a lot of sense to me, I think the Astros need a defensive catcher behind Yainer. pic.twitter.com/0hekC1C5Ra

I didn't know this, but Asa Lacy, the 4TH OVERALL PICK in 2020, was left unprotected by the Royals. Anyone can pick him up in the Rule 5 Draft...

He had a 2.07-ERA/13.3-SO9 in 152 innings at Texas A&M 😳
Really hoping he can get healthy and figure it out pic.twitter.com/uhxZnoJzDo

Ultimate Offseason Topic - Astros Mount Rushmore.
Who are the most important, best, influential, statistically impressive, etc (however you define it)?
Here are the rules:
1. Pick 8 Players. 4 for your "A" Mount Rushmore & 4 for your "B" Mount Rushmore.
-2 points for A, 1 point for B.
2. Must be at least 1 pitcher or 1 position player meaning it can't be 4 pitchers or 4 position players.
3. Do not pick more than 8.
I will tally up the scores in a day.
This is what I was alluding to when I mentioned there would be a lot of changes this offseason in the player development and scouting departments.Farmer1906 said:Spoke with one of the @astros player development coaches. For better? For worse? That remains to be seen.. but the majority of folks I've spoken to don't feel great about making big changes to a system that's produced a lot of big league talent in recent years.
I've been MIA for a while so I have a lot to catch up on. I've been battling the worst flu I've had in my life over the last week or so. I felt like I was dying.
The Astros are very much in on Yariel Rodriguez and Yamamoto. Is it likely they land one of them? Probably not and I don't expect them to. But I've been told Crane is willing to go over the luxury tax (or whatever it's called) for the right move. I can't say what defines "right move" but I'm thinking along the lines of a player that would move us from contenders to favorites.
Dana is working the phone and discussing both trades and free agency. Moves will be made. He's motivated to make a strong first impression in his first offseason as GM. I can't speak to whether the moves will be big or small- but they're discussing both.
What else did I miss?
