I'm thinking up an elaborate cheating scandal to accuse them of, and I'm going to post about it for the next 3-5 years repeatedly if they end up winning the WS.
Well they've already been aided by cheater Scherzer. Remember all the careers he ruined by using spider tack his whole career? Surely he didn't just magically stop. The Porkchop Express said:

If an arlington wins a wc and nobody saw it did it really win?
Has to be an away game scheme, though....The Porkchop Express said:
I think my cheating scandal is going to involve using military-trained dolphins to bounce sonar waves off a satellite that relays pitch.com signals straight into the Rangers' dugout.

Was told this morning that Crane is very serious about Counsell but, as expected, it's unlikely he's willing to outbid the Mets. He loves him though and he checks just about every box.
I suppose Counsell is better than the other old farts that have been rumored. But the fact that the Mets are interested, and his woeful postseason results are kind of a red flag. I'd still pick Espada over him.texasaggie2015 said:

No matter the next manager, this right here may be the biggest difference between this past season and next.MosesHallRAB04 said:
I just want a manager who can figure out how to get this team to win at home consistently.
Oh and play the best players.

The fact that we've went from Aussmus and Ron Washington to debating between Espada and Consell is great. Espada and Consell are both home run hires IMO!

So this begs the question… What 2 cities would be next for an expansion franchise?
This year was the aberration to the past 7 years. This team has won at home during the golden age, and they will win at home next year.MosesHallRAB04 said:

I think you've got to look at Nasheville or Charlotte/Raleigh for one. Montreal is supposedly putting together an argument to get the Expos back and I think MLB still likes the idea, based on something I remember reading a few weeks back.
Portland I don't think would want/support a team and I don't see many other obvious candidates with Vegas taken care of.

Nashville, Salt Lake City, & Charlotte.
You know the Braves would fight adding 2 teams in their territory.Lonestar_Ag09 said:Farmer1906 said:KCup17 said:

I'd say personally Salt Lake and Nashville. I don't believe putting both new teams that far East makes sense but I think Nashville is a better option than Charlotte.
I do like the Montreal option though so that would be third for me.

The Cardinals probably wouldn't be happy about Nashville either.
Is Utah Dodgers or Rockies country? Neither seems right, they might need a team.
