Between Melton (23), Baez (20), Loperfido (24), Barber (23), Corona (23), Cole (23), & Leon (25) we have an abundance of outfielders getting ready for a shot. Offensively, I think Loperfido & Melton are the closest. They're kind of the same guy. Baez is the youngest and farthest away but he excites me the most. We might be shocked when Corona gets the call first. I think defensively he's ready to play CF at a high level.

Yordan is 8th in HR & 10th in RBI from '21-'23 yet 71st in PA. He's not hitting these arbitrary marks yet he's still a top-10 slugger (counting-wise) in baseball even with the missed time.
Only Judge has a higher wRC+.

He's missing games. When he misses games, the Astros' chances of winning drops.
He should be EASILY be getting to 40 and 100 a year.
He should be top 5 or top 3 in those 2 categories.
Yordan will DH a large majority of games this year. He's been vocal about wanting to play LF in the past, but they want him off his feet to save his legs.

Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if outdoor games in the directly affected areas were postponed. Schools have been advised it's in the best interest to not hold school due to increased traffic in the direct path by national safety counsels.

Yup. He lives up to every bit of the hype. Very few holes in his at-bats. As stated before, it's all about staying on the field. He does it this year and he's taking home an award.
Looking at the numbers, in games where he plays LF he averages 1 xbh per 7.8 plate appearances. In DH games its 1 xbh per 8.5. Over a season that's only a difference of about 6 xbh. And if you look at his xbh totals, it seems like home runs are down while doubles (and a few triples) are up. Could it just be that because he tends to DH in larger parks with bigger left fields, more of his hits in those games aren't getting over the fence and he's ending up on second base?
Obviously hits and walks in general are up when he plays defense, but he's losing .100 points off his slugging with a pretty similar rate of driving the ball for extra base hits.
