At least two teams that are in the starting pitching market are monitoring the Astros and whether they’d trade Framber Valdez. Wrote here why it would make some sense - https://t.co/zRHYEPebDk https://t.co/4mN7jgJb7g

I suggested this early in the offseason and a lot of posters on here thought it was absurd. If we can get another SP or even a few prospects that could develop into SPs then I am all for it.EastCoastAgNc said:At least two teams that are in the starting pitching market are monitoring the Astros and whether they’d trade Framber Valdez. Framber is either great or catastrophic. There doesn't seem to be much in between. Without Maldy (who has seemed to be the stabilizing force with him), it might not be the worst idea to move him while his value is high.
I 100% think it is absurd if the plan is to win a World Series in 2024.All I do is Nguyen said:I suggested this early in the offseason and a lot of posters on here thought it was absurd. Framber was a complete dumpster fire in the postseason this year. Hell, he was awful after the all star break when Dusty wouldn't let him pitch on short rest and he threw a fit. His inconsistency is the main reason why, if I were in Dana's position, I would consider the opportunity to sell high. If he starts the season the way he finished last year, he will have zero trade value at all.Farmer1906 said:I 100% think it is absurd if the plan is to win a World Series in 2024.All I do is Nguyen said:I suggested this early in the offseason and a lot of posters on here thought it was absurd. If we want to minimize the impact / length of a rebuild, then stocking up with good prospects in a trade involving him would be very good, especially if you can get some guys who are on the cusp of pitching in the majors and a potential option to play 3rd next year once Bregman leaves.
I get it wouldn't be a fan favorite move, but it might be worth considering.

There have been exactly three times I’ve thought about taking my own life:

-When Stephen A Smith ranted about me on First Take
-Last night
I will not let that happen again. This is where I draw the line. The important people in my life know how to reach me.

one reason to keep Framber, Bregman, and Tucker to the very end...
they will be strongly motivated to deliver great seasons (in anticipation of free agency)
2024 and 2025 could be championship seasons because one or all have big contract years
A billion dollars only gets you a third place projection. Huh.Farmer1906 said:FanGraphs top ten projected teams for 2024 after the Glasnow trade:

Geeze. She also wrote on another social media platform that she feels like she needs to be protected from the Astros fanbase. This whole thing is so bizarre.

Instead of thinking about taking her own life, she needs to think about putting down social media. Why the hell do women post their Ls so much like this, anyways? Jfc. This girl is unstable as all get out.
Women Posting Ls and Single Moms Posting Ls on X are pretty damn funny/sad.Sea Speed said:texasaggie2015 said:There have been exactly three times I’ve thought about taking my own life:

BREAKING: Right-hander Tyler Glasnow and the Los Angeles Dodgers are finalizing a five-year, $135 million contract, sources tell ESPN. Once the deal is complete, the trade of Glasnow and Manuel Margot from the Rays to the Dodgers for Ryan Pepiot and Jonny DeLuca will be official.
