If you think Altuve is a cheater in 2023 then you fall under 1 of 2 categories:
1. Low Information Casual
2. Hater who refuses to accept reality.
It's remarkable how brainwashed people are about Altuve, but a lot of folks probably think it's too late to change their stance now. Might as well own being a tool I guess.
Ms. Vann should have known better than to poke the bear that is Astros fans on Twitter. The victim BS is just pathetic.
This whole fallout with the chron hiring her just reinforces why I despise social media. The need to post a hot take, chasing "likes" so someone can become an "influencer" just creates an alternate universe, a wasteland of fiction.
In looking at her twitter I noticed she is a cancer survivor and also likes to trash Texas A&M, calling BCS the armpit of Texas and mocking us because we actually yell for our team. Can I have sympathy for her while also despising her hate for Altuve and A&M? Is the real world ever as black and white as social media makes it out to be? Best I can do is ignore it all.
TLDR; the world would be a better place if we didn't reward people who seek attention by posting their every banal thought, bias, personal issues or exaggerated take on the world.
