My prediction for tonight…we put the pressure back on the snakes tonight. Max gives us 4+ innings only surrendering 2. Bullpen gives up 1 more, but it doesn't matter because our bats wake up tonight and push 6 across.

PRE-GAME!!!

Ok, I may have been partly to blame for the start. I ran out of Cointreau and Gran Marnier before G1 and settled with TripleSec. **ack** G2, we had double carpool, one kid had HomeComing the other a Halloween Party, so we didn't "really" drink by playoff standards. aka, we stayed legal to drive.

Well, just juiced up my "Rally Margarita" with some Gran Marnier and it is so... so... much better good.


Rangers win G3!

2010 we got beat by a much better team.

I don't know that we're the "best team" in the MLB this year, but I certainly wouldn't say the DBacks are.

Win just 1 in Arizona and we've reclaimed home field advantage.

Win 2 and we're sitting pretty.

I think it's fair to say that the steep price for we paid for Montgomery was worth it. If Saggesse and Roby both become all stars, I won't be upset or hand wring about it.

We don't make the World Series without Montgomery. Hopefully tonight Scherzer justifies the price we paid for him and I could care less what Acuna develops into.

They were saying early on the radio that it was pretty breezy and they felt the DBacks were likely trying to get in the head of Texas.

What I read was that if both teams disagree, then MLB will make the decision.

Rangers had the roof open. Both teams disagreed, Rangers wanted it open. Astros wanted it closed. MLB decided it would be open.

The D-Backs in-stadium PA guy is not a tenth as good as Chuck Morgan. It was the first thing I noticed the first time I was at a game here.
