My wife went to bed and we were up 2-0.

She slept pretty much the whole game. Slept through me going absolutely nuts when Seager tied it, despite only being 20 feet and a single wall away.

Then during that last pitching change she woke up unprompted, and parked herself on the recliner.

And, don't worry, she won't get away with an early bedtime again. I'm heading to the garage to look for the ratchet straps now.

I pointed out in the 3rd inning that even though they only scored 1, the traffic would turn the order over extra times. That's why Seager batted in the 9th. It's why Garcia batted in the 11th.
