I think houston is a better team than philly and arizona. If we play the same way we have all post season we should win. I personally think a win over philly would be more satisfying and entertaining.

I just want to get our first World Series title salted away as soon as possible. Even if it's boring ass games where we win 1-0 4 times in a row.

Both teams have slain a "NL giant". I'd say the Phillies win over the Braves was more impressive tho. The dodgers just imploded.
Well you asked if we should worry either way and I basically said no. I don't think either team is clearly better than the other or will be tougher match up. So if all things are equal then I want the more satisfying win. I understand your point if philly would be the much tougher opponent and I said philly. Like you I really don't care as long as we win.

I mentioned earlier that the Rangers are in a very unique situation, much like the 2022 Aggies. They have no need for any defensive replacements or pinch hitters. The only way to use their bench is through defensive subs following pinch runners.
I want a real monster DH. Like a Schwarber type player. Garver and grossman don't strike fear. Putting a monster DH at 3 or 5 would be great.
Do we maybe move Carter into the lead off spot and move Semien back to 5? Or 2? And Seager to 3? L, R, L, R
AZ and PHI finished the season with a total BBs that were 1 different. So basically identical and middle of the road overall

Ginkel is a pretty nasty set-up man.
First time I've watched a team other than the rangers in the playoffs. I wish we could watch both the AL and NO bracket on HBO max. It's a nice / convenient feature.beatlesphan said:

Things looking dire for Philly. 6 outs left and Schwarber / Harper just hit.
That bullpen ate our lunch until game 7. We squeaked out a win vs verlander. Got after fat Framber early. Smoked, smoked. Smoked. Then got after fat Framber again. And then finally go to Javier and absolutely depleted their bullpen. Amazed dusty never put in Pressley. Game was over after the 4th anyways.
Phillies hitters definitely pressing. Two really bad at-bats.
We didn't get smoked game 5. If Chapman handles business in the 8th and saves Leclerc for the 9th, that one is likely a W.

Anybody wanting Philly over Arizona is crazy. There's no such thing as an easy World Series matchup because of what that team had to do to get there but… Arizona is such a better matchup for us than Philly.
