We don't have a single bullpen pitcher that would pitch for the Astros in leverage spots, and it shows. Seager and Semien being no shows is massive, but not having a bullpen that can throws strikes is the issue.

Rangers are still ahead of schedule. Build an elite pitching staff and this team will be scary good. Even an average bullpen and the season (and series) is very different

Facts. Getting here at this point is wild. Who expected us to be in the ALCS last fall? Hell, who thought we could maintain the season after a couple months of seeing this team this spring? We're building for better days, and they could start as soon as Sunday.

The frustrating part is we've seen the same thing for three games.

The Astros are not going to beat you by hitting a bunch of solo homers.

You can't walk the leadoff hitter and especially can't walk guys at bottom of lineup. We saw it over and over. Some of it was guys with control issues. But mostly it was too much nibbling. Don't get cute. Throw your best pitch for a strike.

Could have easily tied.

Pinch runner steals 2nd (didn't do it)
Runs on single to right (3rd base)
Runs home on fly to center.

Put in a pinch runner and he didn't produce. Incredibly frustrating.

Yeah leclerc had good control fo fastball but kept trying the off speed for some reason and couldn't get it in the area code. Just no reason for that.

We waste too many pitches. Know your opponent. The Astros don't swing at bad pitches. Gotta throw quality strikes to get them out.

As long as Framber is pitching Sunday I feel fine. He can't pitch up as a sinker ball pitcher, which plays to our strengths.
