Plain and simple, our two big stars are losing this series for us. Their no show at this point is mind boggling. Love them to death and glad they will be here as Rangers, but two pitches in this situation, mind boggling inexcusable.

Verlander is still good, but not nearly as scary as he was even the last several years. Just need to swing at our pitch and not wildly hack at anything just because it's in the strike zone.

It's very hard to win without your 2 superstars figuring it out at the plate. I get that they are both aggressive hitters, and maybe they just have to stay aggressive to get out of it...but youd think you would become more selective and work the count when you are struggling

If I'm Seager or Semien, and I'm going up and free-swinging on the 1st pitch... I'm lining up a 4Seam chest high. No way in HELL would I be popping up a pitch by getting under it.

Seager looked like he was coming out of it last night with the HR and line drive out to 1b (double play). But he seems to have reverted back.

Maybe he'll come to again next AB.
