During the Asstros game, they mentioned a rule I had never known or heard of.
Apparently, with the bases loaded, the pitcher has to declare if he is throwing from the wind up or the stretch. I didn't know you had to declare.

It's not positive, but that's who they were speculating today during the game on FS1.
This is kind of a stupid thing to say since it is purely based on the fact that they are the only team with a 2-0 lead at the moment, but the Rangers are currently the favorite to win the World Series.

That is sage everyday advice for anyone on this thread. I haven't read that thread or the Astro thread in forever. Not worth the hassle or aggravation. I have plenty of really good friends from H-town that are Stro fans and good people, but for whatever reason it seems that the worst of the Astro fan base hangs out on the Texags MLB board. Not worth my time....

The concern I'd have as an O's fan is that Gibson spent time in 2 seasons with the Rangers and there is likely a familiarity.

Anybody else suspect Verlander is using steroids? The only other pitcher who throws like him at 40 was Clemens. Seems like MLB only catches bottom rung players now.

Is this the first time in postseason history that a team has won four straight games, all on the road? I suppose it's possible someone could've won the last two LCS games and first two World Series games on the road at some point.
